Transaction fees are small amounts that a business has to pay to the service provider for every payment made. However, any user using Shopify Payments doesn’t have to pay any Shopify transaction fees. In addition to this, Shopify Payments is available to all users regardless of their plan. It also comes with additional features such as instant approval, chargeback recovery, full integration etc.
Shopify Payments
Shopify Payments is currently available only in a few countries. Such as US, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and Singapore. As mentioned before, if you’re using Shopify Payments, no Shopify transaction fees are applied for any manual payments you receive. Manual payments can be COD(Cash on Delivery), checks, bank deposits. For credit card payments, Shopify transaction fees change based on your plan. The table below shows the difference in Shopify transaction fees for different plans.
