Owners of e-commerce stores on Shopify must provide the best possible experience for their customers. The more open the business, the happier the end customer. When a consumer purchases an item every step of the process should be clear. Whenever an order is shipped out, it should be clear for both the customer and the courier what the contents of the package are. Just for this reason, you should print a Shopify packing slip and include it in the package.

Multiorders shipping management software allows sellers to effortlessly print Shopify packing slip to ensure the smooth process. Anyone who aims to be valued as trustworthy and reliable, should provide straightforward guidelines for the package verification process.

Shopify Packing Slip

The best practice is that you should include packing slips in every package you send. A packing slip is a summary of enclosed products inside the package. It is otherwise known as a delivery note.

Normally it is either put in a pocket or pouch attached to the package or inside together with the actual contents. It is important to include packing slips in order for the customer to be able to cross reference the contents and in case of insufficiency, it is easier to get back to the seller.

The packing slip should include the date of purchase, item names and quantities of each product. In some instances you can provide additional information, but it entirely depends on the business.
